Water proof glue is a special type of PVA glue, and it is mainly used for the tubes which have strong requirements of water resistance, especially the chemical fiber tubes with fiber-steaming production process. The glue can only be supplied in liquid form.

- Based on polyvinyl alcohol

- Low solids around 8 - 9 % (1 ton of glue powder can be mixed with 10 – 11.5 tons of water)

- High flowability, suitable for high-speed machine

- Higher strength for the cones

- Strong resistance to high temperature and moisture for the cones

- Fast initial bonding

- Powder form: reducing the transportation cost and easy for mixing

- Should be cooked by steam with temperature > 90°C

- Based on soybean protein

- Solids around 12 – 15% (1 ton of glue powder can be mixed with 6 – 7.5 tons of water)

- Good resistance to high moisture and temperature

- Can be used for the yarn-steaming cones

- Powder form: reducing the transportation cost and easy for mixing

- Cold soluble: can be mixed with normal water on spot and no need cooking

- High flowability suitable for high-speed winding machine

- Higher strength for the cones
